Release Austin Grill Celebrates Valentine's
Day with Heart-Shaped Quesadillas Washington, D.C. (January 24, 2003) - The spice and price are right this Valentine's Day at Austin Grill where patrons can enjoy a fun three-course dinner without breaking the bank. Priced at $28.99 per couple (tax and gratuity not included), the Sweetheart Dinner is available at all six Austin Grill locations throughout the Metro D.C. area and Baltimore from Friday, February 14th through Sunday February 16th. Dinner includes a complimentary take-home bottle of the Grill's own Weed Killer hot sauce, normally priced at $4 each or three bottles for $10, as a special "Cupid's day" fiery gift. Austin Grill's Sweetheart Dinner menu will heat up Valentine's weekend with an appetizer of El Chorozon, a fire-roasted portabella mushroom basted in a roasted garlic and chipotle sauce, topped with green chilies and served between freshly baked heart-shaped puff pastry with a roasted tomato salsa. The entrée of Gulf Coast Surf & Turf features grilled jumbo shrimp, fire-grilled skirt steak and a poblano butter sauce, and is served with julienne mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The sweet finale is the Grill's most popular and tantalizing dessert: the Ibarra Chocolate Brownie Sundae, topped with Mexican vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream and a homemade hot fudge sauce. For an extra $12, couples can share Austin Grill's Valentine drink special — the Sweetheart Swirlie for Two. Crafted with the restaurant's signature frozen lime and strawberry margaritas, made with fresh limejuice, Sauza Gold tequila and triple sec, the Sweetheart Swirlie for Two is served in a frozen, Texas-size 16-ounce cowboy boot shaped glass for patrons to keep (while supplies last). All Austin Grill locations are open Friday 11:30 AM to Midnight; Saturday 11:00 AM to Midnight; Sunday 11: 00 AM to 10:30 PM. Addresses and contact numbers to follow.
