Release Austin Grill Celebrates Military Appreciation Week By Offering A 50% Discount WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 7, 2003) - In an effort to thank District of Columbia military personnel for their service, both Austin Grills located in D.C., 2404 Wisconsin Ave. and 750 E. Street, NW, will offer a 50% discount on their Texas inspired menu, excluding beverages, from May 18 through May 25, 2003. Menu items such as the Austin Special, an entrée consisting of one chicken and one cheese enchilada striped with three sauces - green chile, ancho and white suiza - normally priced at $9.99 will be offered for $4.99 to patrons with Military I.D. during the Second Annual Military Appreciation Week, hosted jointly by Mayor Anthony Williams and the USO. The weeklong celebration will culminate in a half-day street festival entitled "DC Salute to our Armed Forces" on Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Freedom Plaza. Celebrating its 15th Anniversary in the Washington area, all Austin Grill locations are open Friday 11:30 AM to Midnight; Saturday 1:00 AM to Midnight; Sunday 11: 00 AM to 10:30 PM.
