The Austin Grill in Baltimore is officially open for Business. Doors opened on November 16th with a Charity Night for the Julie Community Center, a local charity helping neighborhood kids in the Canton area, as well as providing a long list of community services. The following 3 nights were also Charity nights benefiting the South Baltimore Learning Center, the Living Classrooms Foundation, and Baltimore Reads. The Austin Grill is located in the recently renovated American Can Company at 2400 Boston Street in the Canton area of Baltimore, just south of Fells Point. Some of our neighbors in the Can Company are Bibelot Books, Donna’s Café, The Atlantic Restaurant, and the Chesapeake Wine Company. There are plenty of cool design features for you to see at the newest grill. Like the Austin Grill on E Street, the Baltimore grill has a 17 foot pair of longhorns stretching over the bar which has a branded wood floor. When you walk into the Grill you can’t help but notice the funky star mosaic on the floor. For those of you who like to see the food being prepared, there is an open kitchen, and there is a tortilla machine in the dining room so you can see how the tasty tortillas are made. You will also notice the “silver wall” made of trailer skirting and the many cool light fixtures about the restaurant. In the warmer weather, we look forward to outside seating where you can sip your margaritas under the sun! The Austin Grill in Baltimore is accessible by the water taxi so it is a great stop before or after any sporting event or visit to the aquarium.
