If you know Austin Grills you know about First Mondays. They're our way of giving back to the communities we call home, by donating a portion of dinner sales the first Monday of every month to a local non-profit organization.
The first Monday of every month, each Austin Grill sponsors a community organization for the evening. The organization invites their friends and supporters to dine at Austin Grill. We donate 50% of the restaurant's sales generated by this group after 5pm to the organization. Each Charity is selected by the General Manager of the restaurant that organization wishes to hold the event at.
We held our inaugural First Monday in November of 1995. In 1999, Austin Grill was a finalist for the Restaurant Neighbor Award, an initiative by the National Restaurant Association to recognize "exceptionally innovative and effective community service projects."
